Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is commonly known as a heart attack. It is the interruption of blood supply to a part of the heart. The resulting ischemia and oxygen shortage, if left untreated for a suffi cient period of time, can cause damage or infarction of myocardium. Myoglobin (MYO), Creatine Kinase MB (CK-MB) and cardiac Troponin I (cTnI) are the proteins appear in the bloodstream shortly after cardiac injury. The detection of these substances will help to diagnosis of AMI cases.
One Step MYO/CK-MB/cTnI Combo Test Devices, or single cassettes of the three assays, are a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of human Myoglobin, Creatine Kinase MB and cardiac Troponin I in whole blood, serum and plasma specimens, as an aid in the diagnosis of Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI)
Features:
1. Sensitivity: MYO: 80 ng/ml; CK-MB: 5.0 ng/ml; cTnI: 1.0 ng/ml.
2. Easy to perform, qualitative results are read visually without any instrument;
3. Takes less than 15 minutes to be sure.
